Farfetch is one of my go-to websites for when I want to dream about all of the things I could buy if I could fast forward 5 years to a ‘real’ job with ‘real’ money that can afford more than Topshop as a treat! I’ve been eyeing up the site to see if there were any pieces of jewellery I could be treated to as well as eyeing up their designer bags – although we all know that this one is the dream!
While perusing the site I was inspired to put this outfit together by this beautiful digital print skirt by Lanvin and this equally stunning Chanel lace shirt. I was so pleased when I found the Chanel shirt because it’s so similar to my vintage find a couple of months ago! I wouldn’t usually wear lace and florals together, but I really like this as it’s a subtle lace blazer layered over a basic black long sleeved top. I wanted to team this with my boots because I have a pair similar to this pair by Opening Ceremony, but I decided that I wanted to match my belt to my shoes and my second pair of Topshop Vectra studded pumps had to come out! I really like this overall look and my flatmate even suggested that it’d be perfect interview wear, something I’ll be keeping in mind!
